Academic Responsibilities of both undergraduate and postgraduate students:

First of all, as one of the key Subject in MBBS curriculum, we provide undergraduate teaching and clinical training in the form of lecture classes, clinical classes, history taking and bedside examination of patients, showing procedure, use of instruments. We also take formative assessment examination with individual feedback session.

Patient Care:

• Care for children with acute and chronic illness in indoor wards.
• Management of common childhood illnesses.
• Dedicated outpatient department.
• Access to advanced care facilities when needed.
• Bedside diagnostic and therapeutic procedures when needed.
• Case based specific follow up of chronic patients. 

Full time training facilities:

• Full time postgraduate training of different courses including FCPS, Non Residency and Residency MD, DCH.
• Regular academic session, case discussion, clinical meeting, seminars, journal clubs and death review session.
• Mandatory assessment of knowledge, clinical skill in a regular basis.
• We provide short term training of outing students from other institutes as well. 

Conduction of research and other involvement:

• Engage in clinical and epidemiological research on childhood diseases, nutrition and preventive health.
• Runs awareness Programs for parents and caregivers on child nutrition, vaccination and preventive pediatrics.
• Collaborate with national health programs to child mortality and morbidity.
• Celebrating different health related international days.
